Reflection

        In 1st quarter, our lesson is all about internet. I have some learnings\knowledge about it on the use and purpose of this since in our generation this is the network system or a form of technology that we use for communicating, researching and for business transactions. The learnings that I have gained in this subject are the history and different kinds of blog,types of search engines and more about the word internet.

        And of course many of us students have problems in every subject but just like in memorizing. The history of the internet is the most difficult one for me in this part because I'm not that good at memorizing and those acronyms that we're told. Other than that there is no problem at all, and when it comes to the knowledge that I have gained i can say that I did my best to understand our lessons and hoping to not forget about it.

        This challenge motivate me to study harder much as then and to put much efforts in life.

         Moving on, I will strive more harder to get a higher grades on the next quarters and to focus more on my studies instead of using gadgets. I will not waste my time on the things that are not important. It is all for myself to improve and if I fail, I will try and try until I succeed.

       

      Safety First

A disaster is a calamitous event that disrupts the functioning of society and causes human material, economic or environmental losses that exceed the ability to cope using its own resources. It can be natural and human-caused disasters, both of these affects thousands of lives each year. Natural disasters are never ending event or nature’s act that causes great extent of damage that might lead people to death. Sometimes humans are the problem because of doing things consist of anthropogenic hazards  that may adversely affect the ecosystem, it tends to occur calamities or necessary events. Example of this is flood, caused by  cutting plenty amount of trees for constructing houses and buildings but some are not important it’s just that they wanted to build their own departures and many more. It’s quite hard to control people from doing this things.

This National Disaster Resilience Month highlights the shift from disaster awareness building to disaster resilience. Government agencies will be organizing disaster response training in schools and government offices and in disaster prone areas in the different localities to see their capacities on how they should respond before, during, and after a disaster. Disaster preparedness refers to the preventive measures taken to reduce the severity of a disaster’s effect. It help us to lessen the impact of disasters on vulnerable populations, to ready an organization for an influx of activity and to design a coordinated plan that reduces the resources, time,  and efforts.

Being ready or prepared in every kind of disasters it's important to keep yourself safe from danger.

All is Well

The Nutrition Month Celebration is an annual campaign held every July, it aims to create greater awareness among people on the importance of nutrition that focuses on the importance of making informed food choices, developing sound eating and physical activity habits.

This month’s theme is pushing the advocacy to give meaning to each and every one that they can contribute to better nutrition and physical activity for better health. A healthy lifestyle is a must for every individual in able to have optimum health and prevent the onset of diseases. 

Being healthy is important and that if we love ourselves,we should love our body that is by practicing a good health habit.Weight management is applied  because it controls the body to proper state, eat enough food but not too much, do physical fitness or exercise daily to warm up your body and maintain a healthy diet. Fruit,vegetables and meat are the food that is good to our health.Not everyone deals with these things but the purpose of celebrating this month will help you that is why this is held every year.

Be Alert

Earthquake is a sudden movement of the ground that may cause great destruction as a result of movements within earth’s crust or volcanic action. It can cause a lot of damage to homes and places so it is important to know what causes them so that we can understand them better in order to protect ourselves against it.

       

Our school community can be prepared to react appropriately during and after the occurrence of an earthquake with proper training and advance planning by creating drills or hazard emergency plan. These will help ensure that there will be no confusion or panic among students and all the people inside the campus because it might lead to accidents when everyone is overwhelmed with fear during strong earthquake.

       

Being active or ready in any type of disasters is way better because no one can predict when will this happen and to ensure the safety of anyone’s life.

Letter to the President

President Rodrigo Duterte,

           

Our nation is facing great, huge problems , however ,we plead that you shall remain in faith. Being a president of a nation is not an easy task, you need to join your country facing the challenges or important matters that may lead to bad incidents.

            Many people are tired in hearing beautiful speeches without being transformed into court actions to help the youth or all the people in a country. They want a good leader instead of a follower, what I meant is that he should not be dictated of his plans by other people. But ahead of this, we were thanking you because our country’s economy has improved. Your stressing the importance of solving many problem and top priority is education. Producing scholarships to the youth, helping the poor and the oppressed and by supporting the laws. We are thanking you for all the things that you’ve done and continuing to do all your responsibilities as a president.

Sovereignty of the Philippines

Independence day is one of the most significant dates in the Philippines. The day of celebration of war and love varied throughout the nation’s history where government offices are closed, there are absolutely no classes and many business establishments are closed.

         
 Philippines in the past was colonized by Spain.Filipino's were facing the challenges that was given to them and trying their best not to give up. And as time passes by, their becoming braver and trust was given to each and anyone.

         
Filipino’s celebrate this event or day by distributing their national flag form every part of their places just to express their feeling,emotion or gratitude from what they claimed.And by thanking their heroes for helping the country or to what they've done.
